Eviction Notice

I’m being asked to leave a fellowship group. Are the member’s evil or disingenuous? Not necessarily. In another setting they would join forces with my vast network of friends and all six of us could group think ourselves into oblivion while the rest of the world remains oblivious of our current theological preoccupations. A person who has been an ambiguous facebook associate since 2010 took no interest until I requested to join her special interest coalition. To be fair, I took no previous initiative either. And then once I made my opinion known it was a short walk through the eviction process. I was advised to join a group that was closer to representing my views. Well there is not such group. Even those (who I love dearly) who are in the 35-85% range agreement wise are busy hoeing their own corn or chasing off their own crows. If we are to confront the world, what part of confrontation doesn’t involve difficult dialog? If the world is to be successfully welcomed into the Apostate Church and the State Church is ever broadening their mutual concession agenda, what part of a worst case superfluous conversation, void of the cross, the resurrection and inerrancy of the Gospel, will be free of offensive speech? A good facebook friend was rightfully brooding over my temperament regarding what must have seemed like a mass condemnation of our fallen nature while finding little to favorably call attention to among the best of us. After all, what is good about the best of us? But I may not be a qualified applicant to that group either and so far, I haven’t been invited to join.

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.” Mat 10:34-36

Daniel's 70th Week in Review

What gives pseudo dispensational theologians the right to use weapons of math destruction? As a service to those who may have been disfigured in a counting mishap, we have changed the term Daniel’s 70th week to Daniel’s postponed, randomly inserted week, so as not to confuse basic math with plain English. For those who can’t adjust to the context, let’s begin again. The 70th week comes after the 69th week. That makes Daniel’s 70th week, history, but that’s another subject. A subject, it must be noted, that is often overlooked when accurately calculating times and seasons related to end time calculation methodology.

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” Gen 1:14 …

There is no indication throughout the written word that God would deviate from this plan or introduce extreme time displacement. The sun may have stood still for a day for Joshua and Hezekiah’s sun dial to go back a few degrees but as far as major tinkering with time in scripture… well there just isn’t any. It’s time to re-evaluate and unlearn what we were erroneously taught, learned to repeat by rout and to accept as truth. Daniel 70th week was fulfilled at the cross, in the early days of the Gospel and before the fall of Jerusalem. It takes time to wrap ones head around it but once it is realized then a whole lot of things will begin to look different after that.

“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you." 1 Th 5:1

The mathematics of Daniel can be seen in many verses but here are several that stand out. I will take liberty to emphasize key words (in caps) to make a point.

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, THE TIME IS FULFILLED, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.” Mk 1:14-15. What TIME was FULFILLED? The TIME Daniel pointed out as DETERMINED in Daniel nine.

“Seventy weeks are DETERMINED upon YOUR people and UPON YOUR HOLY CITY, to FINISH THE TRANSGRESSION, and to MAKE AN END of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to SEAL UP THE VISION AND PROPHECY, and to anoint the most Holy.” Dan 9:24

Christ FINISHED THE TRANSGRESSION system BY MAKING AND END TO SIN (sacrificial system) so that it no longer had domination over those who believed His Gospel. An added feature to this interpretation is that a day would come when explanations (outside the Gospel) of future events would be needless as the need for further speculation would be SEALED UP.

If that were not enough to get us to think through this, let us consider this portion of the explanation to the destruction (forever) of the one world system mentality. Daniel revealed to Nebuchadnezzar that it would arrive during the reign of the Caesar’s. Although it needs to be looked at without excessive tinkering, the conclusion is obvious; once the Gospel crushes the effectiveness of all future earthly kingdoms there will never be a return to world domination, though tyrants will rise and tyrants will fall.

Dan 2:44 “And in THE DAYS OF THESE KINGS shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and THE KINGDOM SHALL NOT BE LEFT TO OTHER PEOPLE, but it shall break in pieces and consume ALL THESE kingdoms, and IT SHALL STAND FOREVER.” Dan 2:44

Third Temple Update

So we’re being groomed to believe that a future Levitical priesthood is in play for when a third temple will be built in Israel. Think through this with me people. When the exiles returned, after 70 years in Babylon, the book of Ezra (Nehemiah too) describes the qualifications of those who would be participants as priests, Levites, assistants, singers and gatekeepers. Meticulous records were kept and certain groups sought to serve but were disqualified because they could not prove their lineage (Ezra 2:59-63). If that were the case after only 70 years of accurate record keeping, how are we to believe that after two thousand years of intermarriage, poor record keeping, diluted bloodlines and polluted historical documentation, that a legitimate staff of over 500 or more approved applicants can be assembled and consecrated to carry out the duties of the Aaronic priest hood? The fact is, it’s not possible and whoever buys this foolishness will waste their time in compiling an answer let alone giving a good reason for believing a God approved third temple will even be in the forecast.

“…. And *MANY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND BECAME JEWS; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them. Esther 8:17b *My caps

If it was already in motion that claiming to be a Jew was becoming common twenty five hundred years ago, how much more in our day are we inundated with those who are not Jews at all and yet lay claim to the land? “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” Rev 2:9

Eschatological Diagnostic Update

It takes awhile to unlearn Americanized religious propaganda, especially with what's coming from the end time diagnostic department. When a person understands that "all" prophecy was fulfilled in Christ Jesus they will eventually come know by the Spirit that Jesus is the centerpiece of all prophetic scripture. That is why He is the Chief Cornerstone of truth and the OT prophets and the NT apostles are the foundation of the remnant church; aka, the only Israel of God. In Acts 2:6-8 the disciples were still focused on Israel’s reemergence into national supremacy.  Their expectation was mismanaged until the scripture was opened to them and then, it still took awhile for the light to come on. The road to Emmaus encounter had the same national interests in play and as late as three years after the events in Acts 2 the apostles still weren't getting it. Peter has yet to speak to a Gentile about Christ, Stephen is stoned after a historical review of national rebellion and Paul is recruited. He then reveals, in writing, enough warning to mankind to last a thousand years or more. If that were not enough, Israel's judgment is easily recognized throughout the book of Revelation. Jesus told them to lose the eschatology and go into the entire world but you'll notice that He didn't say anything about coming back. The Testimony of Jesus Christ "is" the Spirit of prophecy according to the last and only necessary Revelation. What can be added to what Jesus already warned us about in Matthew 24? Nothing, prophecy as a predictor of future events is obsolete.

Abnormally Normal Thorns in the Side

Thorns in the side, aside, I must comment on those suffering from mental oddities or are merely a graduate of a nonconforming version of extreme behavioral independence. Due to being saddled with an alphabet styled prognosis that used a lot of A’s and D’s, I was a recipient of such adolescent labeling. The long term effects present either a mild form of Autisim or some unidentified anomaly associated with creative schizophrenia. Being abnormal is not enjoyable. It involves social dysfunction, behavioral improprieties but thanks to the word of God, it now features a Vocally Enhanced Relationship Meltdown Modifier. Outside of the loneliness, lack of social interaction and chemical imbalances there “is” no official suffering. I have not (yet) suffered for my moral beliefs or political views; I have all the comforts of a safe survival, a few associates who tolerate my antics and there’s a possibility that there may be some time left on the meter. I do not go hungry; I have clean clothes, a bed to sleep in and a car to drive. I even have a library, can read and own a few books. I am blessed above some of my neighbors and have been spared from prison, a wheel chair and debt. I’m not depressed, violent or suicidal; although I have bombed on stage, on several occasions. All I can surmise from all the above is that two out of every American “suffer” from some form of mental illness; the other eight of us have learned either to cope with it, endure it or milk it for all it’s worth. By God’s grace the term “suffering” doesn’t even fit into the equation.
